"Harajuku Gyoza Lou is the standing-only gyoza counter in a narrow Meiji-dori alley that has been open since 1970. The gyoza are pan-fried until the bottom has a crisp lace and the filling — pork, cabbage, and spring onion — is simple and correct. The soy-vinegar dipping sauce is the same one they've used for decades. No pretense, no tourism design, just excellent gyoza and cheap beer. The queue forms around 11:30am for lunch."
